So here I sit at the George Airport departure hall after our flight has been delayed for around 2 hours. The reason being that South African Civil Aviation Authority has closed the airport for commercial airline movement because, and get this, the runway is wet.

And we just heard that our flight is being cancelled. Diverted to Port Elizabeth from Johannesburg.
